Debate Workshop 3 – Tony Koutsoumbos

Following on from the success of the taster workshop in September, this programme will combine a more in-depth theory of debating, with exercises to practice specific techniques and mock debates to simulate the pressure of delivering and responding to different arguments under tight time constraints.

You can take part by:

• attending the upcoming series of group workshops
  (open to all GCRF students – even if you missed the taster workshop)
• speaking at the public debate to mark the end of the course
  (open only to participants who attend all group workshops)
• signing up for one- to-one online debate coaching
  (open only to participants selected to speak in the public debate)

Participation requirements

This is a beginners course, so no previous debating experience is required to participate. A summary of September’s taster workshop will also be circulated for anyone who missed it or would like a reminder of what was covered. This training will be split in 3 half day sessions, this is the third session.
